About

With gratitude and heart, thank you for stopping by. I’m Amanda Beck—an actress, writer, and humanistic psychologist based in Los Angeles. My work explores the connection between anxiety, authenticity, and creativity, helping others—and myself—discover what it means to live fully, authentically, and courageously.

Courage is at the heart of everything I do—combining cor, the root of “heart,” with a brave spirit. As a highly sensitive person, I have a deeply intimate relationship with anxiety, which I now approach as a form of embodied authenticity. And the antidote to said anxiety? To create. To authentically express. To live a life that is passionately one’s own.

Whether on screen, on the page, or in a coaching session, my mission is to craft experiences that are transformative, heart-centered, and vibrantly human.

I hold a Bachelor’s in English with a specialization in Creative Writing from the University of Central Florida, a Master’s in Psychology with a focus on Creativity Studies, and I’m currently a PhD Candidate in the same field at Saybrook University. Alongside my academic training, I am a certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach and am deepening my expertise in Trauma-Informed Coaching.
